Gin festivals: a whole new crazy world... 

Our first gin event last weekend at the amazing Athena in Leicester. In our element in this Art deco wall to wall theatre with gorgeous works of art that I could have secretly crammed into my car.

Doors opened at midday and everything a blur as 300 people streamed through the doors, heading for the gin bars and then to us demanding tasters. The band was pumping, so was the smoke effect... a  foggy, noisy, fun experience. 

Wall to wall gin lovers and those that didn't have a clue: what kind of gin do you like? "Botanical gin"...Refreshing, different, bonkers...

Saturday night and time to party! Prosecco, Gin, who cares? Another 300 swarming like bees to a honey pot, and swamping our table, exhilarating, exhausting, entertaining as the evening drew on... 

Hustle Gin was full on at the bar, and many went home with a bottle or two...

Will we do it again? Absolutely!

Home late, tired feet, head buzzing....
